Hygeia is an automatization tool that works on the background, using just a small amount of your system resources and automating selected tasks to take some work off your shoulders.
The first thing to do is define a set of rules that act as filters and let you choose what you want to do with certain files in certain folders when certain conditions are met.
Once you've established these rules that apply to the specified files, you have to choose what actions are going to be activated. You can move the files directly to a different folder, rename them, make a backup, and even upload images to Facebook automatically.
Finally, to make all this work, you have to define the folders to be controlled by Hygeia, which are analyzed in time intervals that you also set yourself (by default you can leave the continuous option).
Hygeia is a pretty comprehensive automatization tool that still manages to be easy to use. Defining rules is really easy in this application.
